The client lost their house in Superstorm Sandy.  Like so many others, they wanted to elevate their new house to protect it from future storms.  The house is located on Lake of the Lilies in Point Pleasant Beach, so it is oriented to take advantage of the water views.  It is an elevated two-story single-family home constructed on piles with an Insulated Concrete Form foundation. An elevator provides full access from the ground floor to both living levels. The open plan first floor opens to a rear deck, and the master bedroom balcony takes advantage of views to the lake.
