Located on an oversized lagoon lot in Point Pleasant, The Owner wanted to convert a traditional home to a place for entertaining.  A covered porch was added to the front to make a welcoming entrance. The existing single-car garage and den were converted to a 2-car garage, and a game room and screened porch were added above.  An open great room was added to the rear with a master bedroom suite on the second floor. The existing small kitchen was expanded into the addition, which was dropped 2 steps to provide a higher ceiling.  The laundry facilities were moved from the first floor powder room to the second floor, leaving a dedicated powder room on the main level.
