Located in a commercial area of Brick, the zoning ordinance allowed for 3 stories of living space.  In deference to the neighboring residential zone, we stepped the house down to 2 stories. The master suite is alone on the third floor, and there are provisions for an elevator to be added in the future for ease of access.  The remaining bedrooms are split between the first and second floors for privacy.
