Designed as a speculative house for a local builder, this project is designed with the living areas elevated above the floodplain.  The ground floor covered entry and lowered siding maintain the feeling of a traditional house, yet provide the flood protection required in a shore community.  An elevator and bedroom with en suite bathroom on the main level allow for aging in place, and a study allows for flexible working arrangements.
